CSDM a.k.a. Celebrity Death Slot Machine is a “freakout post-punk group” based in Atlanta, GA, known for their dancey rhythms, atypical synthesizer work, and goth rock-esque melodies. Helmed by Ben Presley, Tyler Jundt, and John Restivo Jr., the "death disco" collective first made waves with their acclaimed 2022 EP, Hell Stairs. Described as a collision of darkwave, no wave, and post-punk, the band's sound is an invitation to dance away the pain via swirling saxophones and tight four-to-the-floor cadences.

Since forming in 2021, the band has built a notorious reputation for their wild, sweaty live shows across North America and Europe. Expanding into a massive six-piece live sonic onslaught, they have shared the stage with acts like The KVB, Osees, and Bodega, and burned down houses at festivals from SXSW to M for Montreal. Following a slew of infectious music videos—including “GOGO”, “Entertainment”, and “SHADY”—they have firmly cemented themselves as Atlanta’s hot new commodity in the underground scene.

Now, CDSM is set to unearth their highly anticipated debut full-length album, Convertible Hearse, on May 23rd, 2025 via EXAG’ Records & Mothland. Promising to be unabashedly loud, decrepit, and freakish, the record serves as the perfect clair-obscure road companion for driving around a sexy topless van.
