Gut Model return with new single ‘Windmills’
Formed in 2020 in Brussels by four expatriates from Mons, Gut Model emerged amid the anxiety-laden context of the pandemic, a period that proved fertile ground for intense creative energy. After an initial run of demos and a debut concert at Café Central in late 2021, the band quickly followed up with releases and live shows across Belgium’s alternative scene.
In 2024, their collaboration with EXAG’ Records materialized with the album Spulctures, marking an artistic turning point toward a maximalist art-rock sound fueled by progressive rock, noise, and contemporary experimentation.
Gut Model is currently preparing Hex on us!, set for release in April 2026 on EXAG’ Records—an album whose sounds and themes are rooted in today’s ecological, technological, and sociopolitical tensions.
