Rest Up debut ‘Real Sensations’ out Sept 26th
Rest Up, an energetic trio from Angers, formed in 2021. They quickly began composing and playing their first live shows, eager to experience the sensation of performing on stage. After two well-received EPs, they are set to release their debut album, Real Sensations, on September 26, 2025. Once again working with Daniel Fox (Gilla Band), they had the opportunity to record with him in England at Echo Zoo studio in Eastbourne—a studio that has also hosted the likes of Lambrini Girls, to name just one.
Real Sensations maps out the musicians' emotional landscape, a space where they discover, improvise, and sometimes make mistakes. Experiences blossom, touching on hope, romance, and acceptance. With their art-punk approach, they charge forward with the controlled recklessness that defines them. Their sensitivity is more assured and their work, more refined. The urgency is gone, making way for textural experimentation and calmer passages, crafted with the live performance in mind.
Real Sensations will be released on September 26, 2025, on Le Cèpe and EXAG’ Records.
